7. Returns and Right of Withdrawal
7.1. A consumer has the right to withdraw from a distance sales contract within 14 calendar days from the date on which the goods are received, without giving any reason, except in cases where statutory exceptions apply.
7.2. To exercise the right of withdrawal, the Buyer must clearly inform the Seller of their decision within the applicable period by email at info@chaichai.lt.
7.3. The Buyer must send or return the goods to the Seller no later than 14 days from the date on which the Buyer informed the Seller of the decision to withdraw from the contract.
7.4. Returned goods must be appropriately packaged to prevent damage during transportation. The Buyer is responsible for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
7.5. The 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply in cases specified by applicable law, including:
a) goods that are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly;
b) sealed goods which have been unsealed after delivery and are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons;
c) goods made to the Buyer’s specifications or clearly personalised;
d) other cases provided for by applicable law.
7.6. Tea, spices, confectionery and other food products are assessed according to the statutory exceptions applicable to the specific product. The fact that a product is a food product does not in itself automatically exclude the consumer’s right of withdrawal.
7.7. Where the Buyer lawfully withdraws from the contract, the Seller shall refund the amount paid for the goods and the initial delivery costs required to be refunded by law no later than 14 days from the date on which the Seller was informed of the Buyer’s decision to withdraw. The Seller may withhold the refund until the goods have been returned or the Buyer provides evidence that the goods have been sent back.
7.8. When exercising the right of withdrawal in relation to goods of satisfactory quality, the Buyer bears the direct cost of returning the goods, provided that the Buyer was informed of this before the purchase, unless otherwise agreed.
7.9. If the Buyer receives a defective or damaged product, or a product different from the one ordered, the Buyer has the right to submit a complaint to the Seller by email at info@chaichai.lt. In such cases, the Buyer’s statutory consumer rights apply, and reasonable costs associated with returning or replacing the goods shall be covered by the Seller.
7.10. Refunds are made using the same payment method used by the Buyer for the original transaction, unless the parties expressly agree otherwise.
8. Gift Sets and Custom Orders
8.1. Gift sets offered in the online store may consist of several different products.

The type and main characteristics of the subscription are specified in the relevant subscription description.
9.3. The subscription is paid in full in advance for the entire selected period. At the end of the selected period, the subscription does not renew automatically. To continue the subscription, the Buyer must purchase a new subscription.

9.7. If fulfilment of the subscription has already begun, the Buyer may cancel future subscription boxes that have not yet been dispatched. In such a case, the amount paid for the undelivered boxes shall be refunded. If a discount was applied to the subscription because a longer subscription period was selected, the refund shall be calculated proportionally based on the actual subscription price paid.
9.8. Subscription boxes that have already been dispatched or delivered are subject to the return conditions set out in these Terms and Conditions and to any applicable statutory exceptions.
9.9. A consumer has the right to withdraw from a contract for the regular delivery of goods within 14 days from the date on which the first subscription box is received, except in cases where statutory exceptions apply. Where this right is exercised, the return of goods and refund shall be handled in accordance with applicable law.
9.10. If a product received in a subscription box is defective, damaged or does not correspond to its description, the Buyer has the right to contact the Seller at info@chaichai.lt. The Seller shall ensure that the Buyer can exercise all rights provided by applicable law.
