Special features: Lapsang Souchong originates from the Wuyi Mountains in Fujian Province. According to legend, its unusual production method began when tea leaves had to be dried quickly over a pinewood fire. The resulting smoky aroma became the tea’s defining characteristic, and the technique was refined over time.
