Chmeli Suneli, also known as Khmeli Suneli, is a traditional Georgian seasoning mix, made of a large variety of dried herbs and spices. This seasoning mix has recently gained in popularity not only in Caucasia but also in Lithuanian cuisine. Hearty and flavorful, Chmeli Suneli is perfect for meat, vegetable and legume dishes, stews, fish and soup. It goes especially well with lamb dishes and Kharcho or can be used to make a delectable sauce. Mix Chmeli Suneli with sour cream and a bit of water in a frying pan and stew meat balls, dumplings or other meat or vegetable dishes.
