Pai Mu Tan white tea from Yunnan, pressed into an approximately 200 g Beeng Cha cake and aged since 2015. Over the years, the tea has developed a smoother, richer character, combining fruity sweetness with subtle minerality.
Leaf: matured, brownish-green leaves, flat and round pressed.
Cup: clear and bright, with a forest-honey colour.
Character: fruity, mineral and pleasantly sweet.
Special features: the tea was pressed in 2015 and has since been aged in Kunming under favourable conditions. Over time, its character has become smoother, fruitier and sweeter. It can be aged further, although the most significant changes in its character have already taken place.
A white tea transformed by time into something entirely different.
